Because Islam is never split between faith, worship, and muamalah, then everything that a Muslim does, should accommodate those three things holistically. That's why in terms muamalah, interconnection causation is always about development and justice. In Islam, justice is the basis of all development, since the social function of development is not a result of the development itself but rather an objective of it. That's why CSR is unknown in Islam for the reason that social responbility is one of many motives to achieve falah [welfare]. In this case, social responbility is represented by ta'awun [helping each-other], mashlahah [beneficiary], tawaazun [keeping the balance], and 'adl [just]. Zakat was obliged by Islam to all followers with many functions, one of it is that zakat is an instrumen to push and encourage people to maintain his/her properteis stay productive. Because if not, zakat will gradually deminish those assets. Zakat of productive assets is only taken...ifa.
