Nurcholish Madjid is an Islamic figure who has great thingking which spread out through most of his works. From those works there are some ideas [values] that can be used as foundation to conduct better renewal of Islamic education. This education renovation can be both the concepts of education thingking theoretically and the concepts of education thingking practically. Those thingking are valuable assets to keep to survival of the system of Islamic education. In this sense, Islamic education institution is build up not only based on the religion moral but also based on the development of science and technology or it is suited with the development of era.ifa.
