The problem of methodology that is often faced by Islamic Law isthe requirement to realize an adaptable law toward changes in society. It is needed a methodology framework which is not only accessible for the modern science but for the social changes as well. In this case, sets of thoughts [ijtihad] must be maximized to respond each adjustment in the society. Unfortunately, moslem, nowadays, according to al Turaby, the weakness of thoughts is caused by the Moslems who do not use the rational science as a device. And there is one effort to adapt 'terms' of classical methodology of Islamic Law [kaidah fiqhiyah] with the term which can be understood by the modern science. This requirement, by itself, also requires the ability of adapting former Islamic science with the social reality, and avoiding the problem of though fully-based text book. Therefore, ijtihad needs to be oriented on the beneficial value. Benefit here is as means of effort to comprehend the holy text book.............yo.
