There are three definitions of i'rab which are subtantially different, that is, the difinitions offered by Abdullah bin Ahmad al Faqihi, Ibn Hisham al Anshori, and Mahdi al Mahzumi. The differences are not only in the forms of expressions, but also in the meanings. However, the difference in the divisions of i'rab is non existent. It is suspected to be illogical. As well, there are differences about the origins of the i'rab, although the concept of i'rab actually has been there since people feel the need to talk and to express what they mean through a language.het.
